Overview

Looking for a little slice of Paris in the middle of Manhattan? Tucked away on a quiet street in SoHo, Ladurée SoHo is one of the city’s most charming cafés—complete with pastel macarons, elegant tea rooms, and a magical garden patio that feels worlds away from New York’s busy streets. On my recent trip to NYC, this was one of my favorite stops, and it’s just as Instagrammable as you’d imagine.
The Location: SoHo Style Meets Parisian Elegance
398 W Broadway, New York, NY 10012, United States
SoHo—short for South of Houston Street—is one of Manhattan’s most iconic neighborhoods. Known for its cast-iron architecture, chic boutiques, and art-gallery roots, it’s the perfect backdrop for an afternoon at Ladurée.

While there are several Ladurée locations in New York City (including Hudson Yards and Madison Avenue), the SoHo café stands out for its unique indoor and outdoor spaces that blend French sophistication with New York charm.
The Atmosphere: Tea Rooms and a Secret Garden

The Ladurée SoHo location offers two beautifully decorated tea rooms, but the real gem is the garden patio. Hidden behind the café, the patio is shaded by a canopy of trees, making it one of the most enchanting places to sip tea or cocktails in the city.

It’s no surprise that this spot has become one of the most photographed cafés in Manhattan. Whether you’re here for brunch, afternoon tea, or just a coffee and a macaron, the atmosphere feels effortlessly Parisian.
The Menu: From Croque Monsieur to Afternoon Tea

The menu at Ladurée SoHo is extensive, ranging from breakfast pastries and brunch classics to full lunch and dinner plates. On my visit, I had a classic Croque Monsieur, followed by tea and a selection of their signature macarons and Eugenies (a chocolate-covered crunchy biscuit that’s just as addictive as it sounds).
They also offer an afternoon tea service daily from 4–5pm, priced at around $70 per person. While it’s a bit of a splurge, you can also curate your own experience by ordering a mix of pastries, macarons, and savory dishes à la carte.
And don’t miss the drinks menu—Ladurée’s list of cocktails, wine, and beer is small but curated. My favorite detail? Their French twist on a Cosmopolitan, playfully renamed the Cosmopolite.
Final Thoughts: Is Ladurée SoHo Worth It?

For me, Ladurée SoHo is one of the most magical café experiences in New York City. Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but the combination of atmosphere, food, and that dreamy garden patio make it absolutely worth it—especially if you’re looking for a relaxing break after a day of shopping in SoHo.
If you’re craving more Ladurée, you’ll find additional locations across Manhattan, including Hudson Yards and Madison Avenue. But for a true Parisian garden escape, SoHo is the one to visit.
